Which application suits my needs?
Gate Operators are built in three configurations: sliding gates, swinging gates and barrier gate.
- Sliding Gate Operators will move the gate along the side of the fence. When there is a tight space involved with application, the Slide Gate type unit works best.
- Swinging Gate Operators are used where speed of operation is a consideration, and space is not necessarily an issue. The gates can open in as little as 12 seconds. Ornamental gates would use a single or double swing gate application.
- The last type of Gate Operator, the Barrier Gate Operator, is used for traffic control security. These are mainly used in parking lots (such as airports, condominium complexes and parking garages).
